PostSubject: User Names & New Member Accounts   Thu Mar 11, 2010 9:51 am

Pick a user name that makes sense (not xyt56445r).  We manually activate all new user accounts and although some maybe legit, the account will be deleted simply because it looks like a spam bot.  So use your real name. It is easier for other drivers to relate to you on TS3 other than "How are you Nutcracker_22?" Very Happy

User name in ARCA Sim Racing X

We often ask drivers to use their real names after they have already created their user profile and adjusted their settings. Please use these instructions to change your driver name without having to create a new profile (which is another option).

1. Use Windows Explorer to rename your Userdata folder and the PLR file. Here is an example for a driver changing his name from "Caulk Eyes" to "John Smith":

C:\ASRX\UserData\Caulk Eyes
C:\ASRX\UserData\Caulk Eyes\Caulk Eyes.PLR

C:\ASRX\UserData\John Smith
C:\ASRX\UserData\John Smith\John Smith.PLR

2. The next time you start the ASRX Launcher, go to 'Options' and make sure your name is selected as the profile.
